Tommy, if you find one of these for sale, BUY IT! They are amazing. My old one killed any MIM Fender and was almost as good as my MIA Jazz bass.

My bass was of the first run of the Model T, they no longer offer ash and maple combo in 3 tone. That was just the first year or 2. When they went to EMG's the 3 knob became standard on 4 string. The 5 string allways had 3 knobs. My bass dates to 2000.
