sold a standup bass and when the guy bought it he threw this little practice amp in a P.R.O speaker system and it says its a raven B-40 its got built in compression and it was made in new York state but i no nothing else doesn't sound to bad just to use around the house and it has a 15 inch speaker im not crazy about the compression on it sounds way better without it but if you ever seen one or know any info please let me know.

A bit of web searching suggests they were a very budget brand, so if it works for you round the house that's great, but I don't think I'd want to try running it for a gig or turning the volume up high.

Picked up this 2x15 up for $80 on Facebook Marketplace this morning. Sounds great, ported on the inside behind the grill, still need to pull the speakers and check the exact specs but after testing it on a full cranked A.M.P BH420 it sounded great and was rattling the windows with my Sire P7.

Seller said he's had it since the early 80's and that it was a small company out of Albany, NY that was only around for a few years. Anyone have any information on the company??

...May two years ago. Granted somebody new might've joined since then who knows something but I suspect that for gear this obscure it's trusting to luck. Whoops, didn't notice the relevant post was two years after the start of the thread. my bad.
