GR bass cabinets for double bass...any better than other lightweight cabinets like Aguilar want a 1x12 under 25 lbs..use witha Gnez-Benz 6.0

GR bass cabinet 1X12

Give Schroeder a look. Their cabinets are efficient, loud and light.
Not in my experience (I had a GR110), lighter for sure but not better IMO. I use a RevSound 112, 21 lbs and works really well for DB and EB, with a Mesa Subway head.
I have a Mesa WD800 that sits on top of either:
A) Trickfish 112M. A complete one cab rig for many gigs.
B) GR Bass AT110 My favorite for doublebass
C) A custom Schroeder 1x10 with the exact same dimensions as the GR cab, but in wood with a 4 ohm speaker...a SLEDGEHAMMER of a 1x10! I use it for upright on a gig where I have to cut through a big band. The GR Bass is a great full range cab that sounds great with everything...I want a second one! The Trickfish sounds particularly good for doublebass due to it being a bit more shallow. Kind of like a ever so slightly taller Polytone size, but handles electric and doublebass equally well, although I prefer 10s personally.
From what I have experienced with the 1x12 GR Bass cab I had on loan was that it was a bit boomy for doublebass in the rooms I tried it in. YMMV. It was killer for electric!

I know you are looking at DB cabs, I am looking for 12s' for electric bass. I hate to admit my 1st thing i check is weight. I becoming an old bass cat. Lighter is better. We all fall into this boat. I am looking at the GK 12 NEO. Good reviews and 30 lbs!
I've owned many different cabinets as a Double Bassist. Multiple 2x8's, a Audio Kenisis TC-112 (tremendous DB cabinet)
My gigging amp is a GR Bass AT Cube Acoustic. IMHO it's one of the best sounding 112 cabinets I've played. They aren't

30 pounds sounds like too much for me at this point! That's why I splurged a bit on the GRs. So light and sound great. 19 pounds for a 210 is just silly.
