Been shopping for a 212 and I ain't gettin' any younger so weight was a significant consideration. I narrowed it down to Mesa ultralight Subway 212 or GR AT212+. Both sell for $1500 and both have pretty glowing reviews. I have a Mesa D-800 and a TT-800 so both cabinets are capable of handling what my amps can dish out. A vendor on Reverb offered me a 10% discount on the GR cab and I counter-offered even lower. Vendor accepted my off and it ships tomorrow.
Pretty stoked, especially with the 28# weight of it.
I use a TC RS212 and I DO really like its tone but it's deep form factor combined with moderate weight makes it a bit awkward. Also the RS212 is only rated at 400w and is 8 ohms (actually higher) and the GR is rated for 900w and is 4 ohms.
I'll post the results of my test drive when it arrives.
