Shaved head about 5 years ago for 2nd son's USMC graduation, came home and found out it was a LOT cooler in Texas summers. Left it that way.

Grows out almost all white.
Picked carrots because I use a razor.

At 53, my hair is still black, but my goatee has grey patches on the sides. I died them a couple times a few years ago, but haven’t since. Another guy in the band is the same.

Two in my band dye their hair completely, one says his hair would be completely grey, otherwise, and I can’t imagine how he would look all grey.

Anyways, I don’t hold it against anyone for dying their hair, so long as it looks natural. Old wrinkled faces with jet black hair is simply funny.

Yeah that's true. As you get older your skin gets 'greyer' too, that youthful flush fades. If you dye your hair, it just shows up worse.

There's some clubs around my city run by semi-famous rockers from the 70's. They have long hair that is clearly dyed black - it looks AWFUL!!

The one thing no one has mentioned is having a good style. It makes a huge difference having a nice sharp cut - look at George Clooney!

And no tied-back pony tails with bald heads either.

I'm getting pretty grey on the sides. If I personally did do a little bit of dye, I'd go for some kind of blonde, but I'd go really light on it. Nothing worse than the black, and none of that touch of gray stuff either…just rock what cha got, but clean it up, and its cool.

How are all you gray-haired dudes getting by? What's your position on this issue? GRAY GUYS ONLY, please vote and also comment...

I'm 54, completely gray, and have been regularly dyeing my hair for several years now, back to its original medium brown color (premature gray hair runs in my family).

Trust me: I look MUCH better now than I did before I started using the coloring. I should have gone this route a long time before I finally did. I wouldn't go back for anything.

I started turning gray around 11 y/o (now almost 36), so I guess I got used to it. Recovered my hair in 2009 after almost 10 years of shaving it. My beard's also turning grey. I'm letting my hair grow totally free now, as it was when I was a kid. I'm open to doing funny stuff to it, but would hate to damage it. Love it as it is. Girls do too. GREY ALL THE WAY!

My neices when they were 11 12 years old would want me to dye my hair."Uncle Rob your too young to have gray hair." So I would, now that they are 17 and 18 they could care a less. So I dont dye any more which is fine with me it fits me better i am not all gray. got the salt n peppa thing going.

I had a gal cutting my hair once talk me into dying it. Took several times to convince her how dark my hair originally was. The dye never stayed in my hair long. I stopped going there and then tried dying it myself. Too much work, too much mess. I don't need the trouble. I'm not gray anymore anyhow. I'm now white! Plenty of it too in a ponytail at 50!

Hi, I have gone past grey - my hair is now white all over!! I love it and have no intention of dyeing it as I feel it would look really false. I normally have it short and spiky and feel this gives me a very distinctive look. Someone called me Silver Fox at a gig last week which I just loved. Be different - stay grey (or white)!!
