Rebecca is great but I’m not a fan of playing most of the song on the b string.

I read an interview with her where she mentions having evolved her bass style to fit her singing while playing. I dig it regardless of where my eyes tell me her hands are playing.

Since I have done some lead vocals playing bass at the same time I can truly say that Rebecca is A M A Z I N G. She and her bandmates have re-imagined the tune so it remains really funky on the verse with just that B String pedal sustaining the groove. Then she opens up on the Chorus and
lets the bass move around more propelling the tune forward. Crosby, Stills, and Nash wrote tunes that are very difficult vocally. Rebecca preserves the melodic line and takes it a different direction. That's a great gift. Just my take.

Love the earlier (i.e., non special) Stingray tone. While the specials sound good, I just prefer the earlier models (have a little nastier tone).
