Green is the best finish ever

I'm a big fan of green basses of all shades.

This is a project that I've been saving for years. I have all the parts. I really need to get around to this one. It's a medium scale neck-through Arbor bass from the early 80's:

Other than seafoam or surf, which isn't a real green kinda' green, I never saw myself as a likely green bass owner. Then I found this Carvin LB70 used...

I HAD to put black hardware on it, though. It looked downright anemic with chrome, I thought.

Yeah... Much better with black hardware!
 
I love the bright colors but always get sunburst, natural or transparent because of supposed better quality of wood ( harder to hide imperfections). Tobacco sunburst Gibson RD Artist, Walnut stained Ibanez ATK805E and Musiman Classic Stingray 5 in Retroburst.
