Green Tea?

Anyone else love this stuff? Ive been sick for days and just remembered that I bought a fresh box last time i was sick. LOL but it makes the sore throat go away almost instantly.

I like green tea, preferrably loose. I like Republic of Tea's "Big Green Hojicah". Its smoked green tea. Very earthy and good. Green tea is a great source of antioxidants and very healthy. Good stuff!

iced green tea is great as well!

I'm a big fan. Fortunately, I've got friends/colleagues in Japan, and they send me the good stuff.

yes, i agree FS89, in the summer i make iced green tea, and it tastes great!

I can't say i have a favorite brand, but it is a great thing to drink

Tea is definately one of my favorites. I picked up on it when I worked for a little coffee shop in town. I probably prefer oolong, though, over green. I believe it is oxidized just between green and black. White tea is probably my second favorite. It tastes soooo earthy... almost like I'm drinking grass and dirt . Sadly, the shop closed. I made sure to buy most of their tea stockpile before I left.

green tea is terrific stuff...

promotes weight loss, increases your moe-tab, and has tons of antioxidants. i drink at least two cups a day.

the good stuff is sencha, and you should avoid the frilly crap you get in supermarkets. best to hit your local asian mart, or order it online for the truly good stuff. if all you have is your supermarket, "Good Earth" is a good brand, and the bottled "Teas' Tea" is great, too.

I drink it, I don't love the taste but with all the health benefits, I can stand chugging down a cup a day.

I buy it when I go to China town, they have the good stuff there.

that's usually a concoction of cheap grade B jasmine, oolong, and green tea.

Uhhh....I don't know - it's in a green and gold soft package. And it's written entirely in japanese characters, there's nothing in enlish on the packaging...

supermarket = "Good Earth"

specialty stores = any loose "sencha" green tea

sencha is actually a type of tea grown in japan. actually quite strong. also, brewing loose tea leaves will ALWAYS be more beneficial and taste better than any pre bagged.

I'm having some right now. I always make my tea from loose leaves. I'm not sure of the brand, the tea house I get all of my tea at has about 200 jugs of various teas and about 30 or 40 types of green tea.

Wow, very cool. I wish I could find something like that around here. I went to an Asian market down the road from my house, and all they had was the same stuff I can buy at the grocery store! I couldn't believe it.
