Greetings From Another New Bass Student

I joined a band a few months ago and was asked to play bass instead of guitar and I said yes. I wasn't sure if I wanted to or would enjoy it so I found a good deal on a '98 MIM Squier P Bass and have spent the last few weeks learning to play. Well I have to say - I really love playing bass and can't wait for another week to go by so I can get to another rehearsal.
I'm also learning to read music again (I used to play piano not too many years ago) which I am thankful for. I'm 60 and live in the Great White North (Canada).
