Finally gotten around to joining here; and finally gotten around to learning the bass in my middle age. Started guitar lessons a couple of years ago, but after about 8 months or so, realized that I just didn't "have it" (kind of like my realization with golf years ago!). But before throwing in the towel, I asked my instructor about switching to bass for a while, and he said it was a great idea to learn both. Well, found out I've actually got the groove with bass and am definitely diggin' it!
