Gretsch tk-300....know anything?

This is up for sale locally and it's kinda got me interested. Very "unique" looking(beauty is in the eye of the beholder, remember?) and looks like it could be capable of some interesting tones. I googled the model and saw some up for sale in the 600-700 bux range. Anyone have any experience or own of these? Cheers!
Here's the ad....Im in no way affiliated w/ seller etc...

Hope you bought it. The Baldwin era of Gretsch is often referred to in disparaging terms. I have a TK300 and its a great bass on all levels, looks playability , sound. Baldwin era Gretsch basses are great instruments. Those who disparage them probably never owned one. I own 1 post 1989 Gretsch and the rest are Baldwin era - the Baldwin era instruments are all superior instruments.
