i will also suggest a Sansamp bassdriver. for teh grit that i try to get, its the only unit i've found that gives me the power tube-breakup type of grit that i love. for preamp tube breakup i'll either crank teh gain on my aggie db659 or use my fulltone bassdrive, but my sansamp is my bread and butter. the voodoo sparkle drive with its blend was pretty decent in my memory as well.
