I'm not referring to the group of people you play with, I'm referring to the groups here@TB. I see on most profiles it says "member of no groups", yet some have "insert group name here". However, I don't see anything on the site pertaining to a groups list or how to go about joining one of these groups. I searched the site, and read through the faq and could find no information on this. I'm not even really interested in joining a group at this time, just asking the q more for sake of curiosity.

BTW, thank you for taking care of this place and for helping all us aspiring thumpers. Wonderful job!

  2. the only group that i know of is the moderator emeritus group, i know i spelled that one wrong, but its a groups for all the past mods.
I suggested a while ago that we have more groups, mainly groups by state or something so more TB'ers can get together and play together, or maybe a groups by music genre so all the jazzheads can get together, or all the deadheads can talk together, but i don't think there was much excitement in that with the higher-ups of TB...i can't remember

That's a shame, maybe we should start a group wanting more groups. A Group Groupies Group of some sort. I'd love to find a group of aspiring bassists in the WV area wanting to expand their musical horizons, etc.
