Growl!

Other than going out and buying a warwick thumb bass how do i get growl out of my Ibanez bass and ampeg[4-pro] setup.

what do i need to dial in

Mids. Low and High at 11:00, and Mids around 1:00. If you use the graphic, boost the sliders between 80Hz and 900Hz. Think frowning face shape. I'd keep the Ultra Hi, Ultra Lo and Bright functions off. Pick frequency range 1,2 or 3 and add a good amount of Gain.

Buy an active Warwick Corvette, lotta growl for way less money.... i know im off topic here, but play one!

just need a little more lowness i dont no how explain it

Don't worry about getting more bottom. Just wait until you get it into the mix, it'll sound perfect. If you still want more though, just turn the bass up a little...
