Make sure you get an original Bass Grunge and not a reissue. I love mine and it was $15 in a bargain bin.
The original DOD Grunge is great in some ways, but is majorly flawed in others. For starters it's sound is way too compressed for live usage. Also, there is zero bass response. That said it can get fun and crazy. I picked one up for $20.
I circuit bent one a couple of weeks ago and it gave me a huge bass response AND got crazier. I played my EUB with a bow and sounded like the whole guitar section from Sunn 0))).
