gsr 200 electronics quit

I went to get out the gsr 200 plugged it in and nothing. I replaced the battery. nothing. dont want to spend any $. wondering how it can be wired around the active electronics. because I really think the preamp is broke.

I don't think it's very hard to wire around the preamp, it's one of the most basic out there. Although I'm not sure if it's you're preamp or just wiring in general. Because my GSR200 will work with no battery as just passive.

Have you tried another bass on the rig to make sure it wasn't the amp or instrument cable?
