well...we'll have to make sure we figure out a way to connect....maybe we can set a meeting time for Friday evening somewhere so anyone can show up.....

Oh... never mind. I thought you meant meeting place. Yeah, I'd love to go Friday night, cause mi padre has to pick me up at 3:30 Friday and then we have to drive to Austin (4 hours plus the extra hour it takes to get from my place to Houston) so we'll be getting there latish Friday night!
I'll be down there with my Alleva Coppolo and my upright that weekend, playing with the Texas Army National Guard Band. I have to work and gig pretty much every night, but hopefully I can make it to at least one hang.
Just hang, talk, and try each other's basses. Tho this is a bass clinic also so I'm thinking Ed Friedland is going to rub how much better he is than me in my face (as a compliment
) and then the actual gtg will take place afterwards.
well....we will get free run of Bass Emporium for a while and then Ed Friedland will give us a clinic and maybe teach these old fingers a new lick or two!!!
then - we get Pizza and beverages compliments of Bass Emporium and the Lakland Owner's Group....and get to hang around and talk bass, play basses etc.
there will also be a few giveaways!!!
all in all a good time!

ohh... adult beverages, Maybe if they are in town (V) we can catch them at a local club.
