Josh's a big dude. AND HE'S SEEN YOU NOW. it's like a shark scenting blood in the water. GARHRHRHRH!!

awesome! i'm a git and just took a vid of gear. it was really ****ing cool to put faces to names.

Hehehe...I don't mod this forum. You're safe. For now. Muah hahaha! ;)

Very good vibe at the gathering yesterday. I appreciate the welcome. Sincerely a good feeling to be even a little part.

Thanks.

yeah! that ***** was HELLA fun! thanks everybody that came out! 'specially y'all that had to drive awhile.

thanks thanks to Brett at Mono for showing off the cases and straps! and the awesome beat up fridge as the "i KNOW what that's s'posed to sound like" reference cab! thanks to Scotty for the pimpy pedals demo! thanks to Jules for that crazy wicked Mad Scientist preamp of tubey doom!

and damn all the rest of y'all for giving me more gas! i'm looking at you Kessles. i almost knocked you over and took your lovely nEarful.

WOOF.

So I was thinking if all bay area bassists would agree to really give in to gas for the next bit of time, we can make the next GTG over the top. And just think, if you are about to question spending some money on gear you can always say "I am not doing the for me, I am doing it to enhance the next bay area GTG."

I had a great time too!

I don't think my wife would buy that, but she generally buys into the notion of me being happy. :hyper:

So, I bet I'll have a few more pedals by the time we do this again.

Finally, the pedal that made me "giggle like a school girl' (to paraphrase Mr. Behndy) was Behndy's Muffin pedal. It just made me trip!

I also liked the TAFM... I may have to get one of those.

that sucks Matt. Other Matt is a great guy tho. and super helpful. i'm sure he'll sort you out. and he's only down in LA, so turnaround might be quicker if he's gotsta work on it since he's so close.

also, i found a medium gray colored Dri-Duck sweatshirt when i was straightening up (Al gave us a bit of a deal on the room. wanted to make sure there wasna a mess. actually, for musicians, y'all are a CRAZY tidy lot. woot!) so holla if it's yours.

it'd fit.... MAYBE.... an arm on me.

rezzemfressum GAS inducing grumblemumble... just picked up an OC2 here on TB.
but what I REALLY DIDN'T NEED was GAS for an Iron Ether Oxide... and a Xerograph...
gRRRRR

BWAHHAHHAHAHAHHHH!!!!!!

....... thought you were into the MXR BOD? the OC2 kills too. good stuff!

I figure I could do well with the BOD, OC2, or Aggie - the OC2 is cheap, like me.
'cos I gotta save for an Oxide, dammmmitol.

They don't come up used very often - but I wuz clever, did a search and saw that Taylor has a website, and that the new price isn't much more than they go for used.

So... off to work I go!
