Guild Pilot bass club?

BUY THAT BASS...!
I just hit that link, to see what "music go round" is all about...The OEM gear + the Hipshot D-tuner alone is almost worth the 200.bucks, nevermind that you get the fully loaded body as well...Sad about the twisted neck though - very nice flame on it...If you are able to easily fix that as you say, you could resell it and (at least) double your money...;)

How does one fix a twisted neck? I’ve always been under the impression that was something that couldn’t be fixed, much less easily.
Concave? Convex? No problem. Just a twist or three of the truss rod. But an S shaped warp or a twist? I’m ready to learn.

Me too.
I really thought a twisted neck meant it was toast.
Please do explain 59jazz, inquiring minds want to know.

Interesting story goes along with Ms. Green. I’m probably the only person that the story means anything to, but I like telling it anyway. When I got her as a surprise Christmas gift from my wife, she was in kinda rough shape in the fretboard area. I researched for a Guild expert to work on her. I found THE Guild expert, Bob Bowdren. He ran a little business building Butterbasses. When Guild closed up shop, he got their jigs and a lot of their parts and such. He agreed to take a look at Ms Green. He contacted me after he got her and convinced me to let him resurface the fretboard and install a made by him rosewood nut. Not long after I got her back, I read that he passed away. Mine is possibly the last Guild he worked on before going on to his reward.

The serial number falls into the proper place for a ‘94 Pilot Pro, but the listing oddly doesn’t go as far as my number, which always made me wonder. I did hear that they got a bit sloppy there near the end. Using whatever was on hand, and I suppose that they missed including my number on the register.
