Guild Pilot bass club?

What does the "I" mean under the serial number?

I was thinking and I have another theory...

Perhaps - as the "I" resembles the Snr. in it's depth and coloring - this neck is a factory replacement neck with a re-stamped original Snr. instead of a new Snr. and the "I" is a factory marking denoting this...

I mean, if I damaged a neck beyond repair on one of my Pilots and had the option to get a new one from the factory with the same Snr. as the damaged one, I'd prefer that to a new Snr...

So in order to "document" this replacement neck, the factory imprints a "I" under the re-stamped original Snr.

It is certainly a viable possibility.

Or somebody just slipped with a screwdriver…

Anyone ever install a Hipshot A bridge on there Pilot? :ninja:

I really prefer the quick release feature now and have been switching out bridges on my other basses and have not touched my Pilots but would really like to have that feature on them?

Anyone know if they're direct replacements?

Schallers only have three holes, so not direct, no.
