Guitar Center Struggling

That was the first Guitar Center I ever visited, I was living just down the street. Never got a good vibe there and avoided GC for many years. Lately I've been a GC customer here in South Texas, and recently in Honolulu, until the quarantine! I have had good experiences in both stores. Times change, people change. No complaints here.

The vibe their was bad.( old Hollywood location) As kids we used to plan a "Snatch & Run". Just because they were "asses".( Never followed through) But when it came to (used) gear They seemed to have what we needed.

The stores stock what is selling in the stores.

Actually, a lot of stores stock two things: What brings people into the store, and what people buy once they're there. Not always the same thing, especially not in music stores.

But they aren't stocking many expensive instruments, because not many of the shoppers and people who hang out there will do anything but play them IN the store.
