Doesn't GC need to hold the newly acquired used item for 30 days before selling it?

They do but to wait for stolen item police reports. They'll never know if it was bought with a stolen credit cards. At least not in thirty days. The guy gets his money right away and he probably has multiple people who do the buying and selling anyway.

In some states yes, some are 10 day, most don't have a police hold

I bought it yesterday afternoon. I was going to drive there after work but figured it would be gone by then. I couldn't pass up the deal!

So I imagine it'll be for sale there again shortly.

That Xotic is an absolute steal, even with the new pickups. And who knows... the original pickups may still be in the included case. It's happened before!
(I once got a $199 used parts bass with a case... that had an EXTRA badass bridge and a set of pickups in it as spare parts.)
