yep that was me. Figured I could always return it.. Wanted to secure it
Uhhhh. I had a bass very much like that, which I pulled the frets from when I was in college. I accidentally left it in the band storage closet at the school I was teaching at 9 years ago. I tried getting it back a couple years ago, but the band director and administrator said the bass wasn't there any more.
Well, I missed out on that other Ibby, but I just scored this one. Thank you, Guitar Center!

There's a Peavey Palaedium Bass at my local store. Good deal at $349 but it has some extra strap button (?) holes on the bottom of the body. 3 extra ones as well as two on the front of the headstock (string retainer?) and two on back of the headstock. ???? The strap button on the top horn has also been moved. Please step away from the drill.

It plays great and weighs 8 pounds on the nose. Missing the truss rod cover.
Yeah, I looked that up. With the direct replacement part from Aguilar, ($159 for my zip,) along with the GC shipping, I'd pass on that.

The Blazer arrived at my local GC yesterday, and it is now in its new home! The nice surprise was that the "non-original" pickup as vaguely described in the GC listing turned out to actually be an Ibanez Super P4 pickup, which is in fact original to the bass! It needs a little cleaning (and some flats), but overall a nice score. Thanks for the tip, J.D. Detroit!
