Has anyone been to the Raleigh store and seen this bass?

Invalid Link Removed

Looks like the tuners are black and I am wondering what they are (hipshot etc).

I know I can call the store and ask but I have had too many bad experiences with GC so I rather not deal with them directly

Which bass, I was just in the store a couple days ago?

Here's an interesting one. I drove over an hour to look at it tonight. It's definitely a Skyline and not an AJ. It's been upgraded with Bartolini's and a two-band pre-amp. I think the serial number said it was an '04. I loved how it played but I'm just not a huge fan of the Barts. Price-wise, it might not be the best deal. But you might be able to "talk them down" a bit since it's not stock. That's what I would've tried to do anyways, if I had loved it.
I've always wanted a LPB bass. It just doesn't seem that this is the one for me.

That's a 55-60 with an aftermarket preamp (with the jack moved from the control plate)

I have the exact bass (04/LPB/rosewood) with a John East preamp. It moved ahead of my US Laklands in the pecking order, so I think is is well worth the $800. If I needed it, I'd be all over it!
