I played a really nice samick immo telecaster it was high end of their line if you want to call it that. As good as USA

Not 100% familiar with this brand, but looks like a good deal to me. Looks like 1 sold here on TB for $2K awhile ago. Saw the bass yesterday (didn't play it, as I don't need the temptation). Looks to be in pretty good shape, has a EMG J in the bridge position (didn't look under the cover for the neck p/u) and a BADASS V bridge. Fingerboard has some nice grain patterns to it.

I picked up a used Performance not to long ago. Amazing bass.

this bass was originally sold by gc as a parts bass with a performance neck for 599. a tbr bought it (ivlucas) and had it for sale here for around the same price. he mentioned some issues with the neck fit. he must have returned it and went it went back to gc, it was listed as a performance yb5.

Yeah, I got it and the electronics were unusable, everything from the jack to the pots was so dirty that it took a couple cleanings. Thinking I had solved all the problems I went to loosen the truss since the G string was buzzing....entire nut/rod within the cavity is completely sheared off.

This is only $50 less than what it cost new, but these aren't available anymore and they're great cheap acoustic basses.
