That's dispicable. The Times Square store is the worst.****Also note that in the photo the strings and fingerboard seem "Warped" that is from someone doing a bad photoshoppe job stamp tooling out the crack

Who is going to be the first to call...View attachment 608344 SUUUUUPER WEIRD
Yeah, CT has never done a headstock like that, that I know of. I was going to go into some speech about how if someone accepts around $275 for their CT at a GC then it's either counterfeit, stolen, or scrap(even then it would go for way more). I almost bought a counterfeit Modulus from GC a month ago.View attachment 608418 This is a pic of the CT from GC, it doesn't say Carl Thompson anywhere on it so I passed
Looks more like it was made by Carl, Tom's Son, you know, the weird kid from down the block.

kinda strange how the manager would just email you a link....he didn't ask if you wanted him to ring it up??? typically when i make an inquiry ...... one of the sales guys would always ask if i want to proceed with buying it from them.... and they would ring up and get all the buying info?? something is a miss to thisSorry, but this is not a deal, I am just trying to blow off some steam - mods - feel free to move or delete this post.
Yesterday I inquired about a GK 400RB III that was listed on the GC used site for $150. I was told that it sounds great, but the input jack was slightly damaged. No big deal, I thought, I could probably fix it. The store manager even send me a link to add the amp straight to my shopping cart. However, when I tried checking out, not even 2 hours after receiving the email, the amp was sold. I can't help but feeling that someone at the store realized how good of deal this was and snagged it. Next time I would purchase first, ask questions later...
