Been playing in church over 20 years now and you know what I never wanted to bring attention to my self. I know how I sound and knowing that I'm playing for the Lord that all that matter.
I just moved and I just join a new church that never had a bass player and after service it wow man you sound good. I thank them but really don't care because I would like them to complement the whole music department. So don't worry if you don't get the attention right now; they know ( look for smiling faces ).
