Hoping someone can help me out here.

Recently got a Strymon Timeline for a really good price and I want to daisy chain it to my HX Stomp which is my main machine for all my effects. I know a power supply is recommended to connect all the pedals at once instead of having a 9V supply and an 18V supply cable however my budget doesn't allow for that yet.

Wonder how I should daisy chain the Timeline to my Stomp. I know NOTHING about how any of this stuff works - I prefer to have the Timeline AFTER the Stomp though.

I also saw on Youtube something about plugging the Timeline into the Send and Return slots on the Stomp but I don’t know what that does. I just want a simple daisy chain process.

Thanks!

Just stock pickups on a Squier 40th anniversary Stratocaster.

I know Strats are naturally bright sounding compared to a guitar with humbuckers. I dial down the tone knob on the bridge pickup which does help a bit but I can’t really turn up the brightness on the neck pickup.

Really annoying when the neck sounds like mud. If I change anything on my effects board then it affects the other tones so that’s another nuisance to deal with.
Sounds like you need different pickups. My Lone Star Strat has a Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge and Texas Special single coils in the middle and neck positions. It sounds a lot like what you're describing.

New guitar day! PRS SE 277 baritone.

Got sick of floppy noodle strings in B standard on my Ibanez and didn't really want to modify that guitar as I generally keep that one in D and don't like 7 strings.

Pickups do the single coil toggle deal. Won't use that much but it's nice to get some different vibes without switching instruments. The neck is a little thicker than I generally like but it's fine. The slightly longer fret spacing doesn't seem to bother me much, even with smaller hands.

Sounds really nice with a Soldano SLO sim through my little Marshall cab

Side by side with my Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C1 for scale

Killer! While I like my 25.5” scale Ibanez RG350EX with Mondo Slinkies in BEADF#B just fine, I find I don’t use the whammy all that much and of course a double-locking system makes for particularly laborious string changes and setups. Just last night, I decided to look into proper baritones with fancy fixed bridges myself, and your model seems like the best bang for the buck with the classiest look among those that I found. Since I get along so well with RGs I will probably opt for the Invalid Link Removed with the Gibraltar bridge and locking Gotoh tuning machines, but I haven’t ruled out that PRS just yet. Enjoy! :bassist:
