Guitar players corner!

Loved this amp for about a year before the crap filter caps went noisy (I still do!)... been planning on cracking it open and fixing the known issue with most all modern Fender tube amps (do they really need to save nickels and dimes on such junk caps?).

I was hunting parts sites and youtube for further info and heard about a lot of complaints about the 'Custom' channel being a noise source too. Went down that rabbit hole and then jumped back to just fixing the filter caps. Now I'm pretty sure I'm just going to order the Mod kit from Fromel and call it a day.

The amp still sounds killer once you get past the noise floor, and I decided I do prefer the standard Deluxe tone stack so I'm okay with revoicing channel 1 to make the whole thing a bit more vintage sounding & quiet.

New guitar day! PRS SE 277 baritone.

Got sick of floppy noodle strings in B standard on my Ibanez and didn't really want to modify that guitar as I generally keep that one in D and don't like 7 strings.

Pickups do the single coil toggle deal. Won't use that much but it's nice to get some different vibes without switching instruments. The neck is a little thicker than I generally like but it's fine. The slightly longer fret spacing doesn't seem to bother me much, even with smaller hands.

Sounds really nice with a Soldano SLO sim through my little Marshall cabView attachment 7066215

Sweet PRS. I looked at one of these until I found another SRC6 (really, really great price) which is now tuned A-A.

I love the look of the Schecter, but have never been able to get my hands on one.

Any Yamaha Guitalele players tried Cordoba Mini strings? What are they like?

FWIW, I do rarely play a Guitalele as my (rather normally sized) hands just feel to big for these. I haven't tried the Cordova strings but I'm quite content with the Aquila Nylgut strings:

Is it available with a right way around headstock?
