Brian May Talks About His New Gibson Signature Acoustic
Despite a recent health scare, guitarist Brian May cannot be stopped. With the Queen reissue project, he’s celebrating his legacy, and with his new SJ-200—a limited edition signature Gibson acoustic guitar—he looks to the future.www.premierguitar.com
Celebrating a year in with this guitar, I reckon I've put in around 450 hours or so on it by now. I built a new cab specifically for it and intend to do an acoustic guitar amp or two sometime this year, but my general purpose DIY rack amp works great and GAS is mild at best. This is my primary acoustic guitar centric EQ pedal, optimized for use with pre existing onboard preamps, but I have a few more that work similarly with this guitar and are great for BG or URB too. I love showing up at open mics and just plugging one pedal straight to FOH, and done!So this is the import Breedlove I ended up bringing home:

Time to start from the very beginning with this one, 'shedding tunes I originally learned on guitar over fifty years ago. But I intend to sing most of them too now, which was way out of my grasp back then.
