Guitar/Vocals/Bass duo

Hi,

Started recording with a friend of mine some time ago and put together this tune. It consists of my friend Whitney on guitar and vocals, while I lay it down on the bass. Earphones are definitely encouraged.

Production? Give me some tips, I have zero knowledge and experience. I'd like to be able to use this as a sampler when compiling our EPK. All that I'd done here was mostly learned from the audacity (i'm very new to this) wiki pages. What should I add/reduce, or how would you improve it? Thanks for your time.

Record in a bigger studio with decent mics and nice accoustics, get a drummer (with a jazz background)... Maybe some keys as well. There are other factors too.... Get a good photoshoot... Photos definitely help with sales and gigs...
Lots of things to consider... I am in the Detroit area, there are a lot of good (and bad) people to work with.
This is just my opinion of coarse.

Ah, I see. Thanks. The song you heard was recorded in my living room, using an interface. We likely won't be recording in a studio for some time. As for photography, we have some connections and we'll certainly use them.
