+1 for the early Sidekick. They do go hard. There's an Etone in one of mine — a little antipodean magicLast summer I was cleaning out my dad's basement and found my first guitar amp from middle school. It's an Fender Sidekick Reverb 30. These things are a surprising gem from the 80s designed by Paul Rivera that nobody knows about but they get much love online for the price. It's got spring reverb, a presence knob and a sweet overdrive. You can snatch one up for $50-$150 on reverb. I swapped the blown Fender speaker for WGS and now the thing has more volume than I need.
