Guyatone BR2 vs EBS BassIQ

Hey guys. I have a Guyatone BR2 but I find it hard to get some good sounds out of it. I'd still like to try a new envelope filter and see if I can find something more usable so I was thinking about getting the EBS BassIQ. Any opinions on it? Or even better, comparisons between the 2 pedals? Cheers!

I have a br2. To me it only sounds good with my distortion. Both knobs at midnight. But it seems to lose the low end. I run a second clean/unaffected channel that makes up for this. (and gives my dist a litte more punch)

I also have the mxr bass envelope filter. That one sounds great with clean. It has separate dry and fx volumes so you don't lose any low end.

I like both of these pedals. The br2 with dist is great for real heavy, obnoxious bass lines. I just wish it didn't lose the low end. It also spikes the volume some. I guess to make up for the bass lose?
