Thanks, I have an Alan Entwhistle ceramic P pickup in a cupboard but sadly only a neck J and a broken neck J. Plus a set of Kent Armstrong and a now unidentified alnico set without covers. Are the Wilkinsons likely to be better than those or the stock? The Fender bridge pickup is noiseless. There's a preamp defeat and without the preamp they are OK just neither very exciting nor smooth. I have Wilkinsons in a favourite J, no idea about model but they sound fine. But we're heading off topic.

Guyker Xtender Drop Tuner - How Is This A Thing??

Aye. I've no problem with Musiclily or Guyker.
They sell affordable functional product which, as @eddododo pointed out sometimes comes in fancy colours
Reason I pointed out the Fender/Roswell connection had nothing to do with the pickups. It was for those who bitch about one product while completely ignorant of the fact they are often praising the same product only it's bearing a different name
In the Peavey group folks would be raving about the US Cirrus while p*ssing from a great height on the Korean/Chinese models, spouting dumb stuff like "better pickups". Peavey's VFL pickups were manufactured in Korea by G&B, every time a batch was ready 20% got shipped to Meridian and the remainder went to China/Indonesia/Korea.
It's not rocket science.
Folk bitch about one product yet praise another product made by the same factory, placed in different packaging.

PRS get pickups from G&B, Spector had a contract with them for preamps. EMG was another client.
