Just joined TB.
I've been using it as an information source for a year or two, for various things.
I figured I may as well sign up, if I'm going to be raiding the refrigerator.
And so I have.
I wouldn't really say I'm a bass player.
But that's a lack of skill and understand thing. Not a thing where I feel above or below being one.
If I manage to learn a few things and become semi competent, that will change.
I can squeeze some kind of fun out of nearly any instrument, unfortunately I will never be very good.
Which is fine because I play for love of music.
Being a (former) mechanic, I have a thing for broken things. Fixing and broken guitar and Basses is good for me. And some I keep around, but never quite finish, because if I finish... I might evaporate, or spontaneously combust. IDK.

But if a man IS what he DOES, what is he when he's finished?
See what I mean? I ain't ready for that.
:-)
