He had a TC Electronics Toneprint thing going on with them for their Shaker vibrato pedal a decade ago.

First electric bassist have received same comments: a bass should not sound like this. And what about Jaco ? Even Jimi Hendrix has raised guitarist hairs with his awful distorted sound. All these guys have showed that an instrument is not stuck in any sound or role. Hadrien has his awesome way to sound on the bass, and he's part of this team that pushes bass on new lands.
Big inspiration to me, One of the guys from who, i re-shaped completely my right hand technic and way to work on music.
Yeah, his tone and articulation is great, but I feel like Thundercat has some superior solo note choices:Doesn't feel like it fits the music to me. I appreciate the skill, but it doesn't do much for me.
