this is my hamer monaco 12. I believe there's only 2 that was made. Both from Mesa Boogie Hollywood. 2006 black one, and a 2007 flamed maple. i am the proud owner of the latter.

...my Hamer Blitz Bass. The story I have is a previous owner was locked out of practice once and wound up removing all the black finish with a pick, except for the headstock....It's been thrashed and the pickups replaced with Seymour Duncans, and I don't think the bridge is original. It plays great though, besides a slight ski jump at the end of the neck. A nice chunk of solid, well aged mahogany.

The bridge is original. Sometimes they had "Hamer" engraved on it, sometimes not.
Wow! I figured it was aftermarket since it's mounted crooked AND off center! Oh well, that's handmade in America for you!
my obsessive compulsive nature kicked in...2nd thread I felt compelled to work on. there was no official listing of members and numbers...so I went through the thread to compile a list of numbers. don't think anybody managed this thread since 2008, and there was never a list generated in previous posts...consider this the official member list. thx.

USA Blitz Bass.
When I got it, the Kahler had been sunk into the body, rendering it unplayable. I got a good deal on it & I stuck it away for a few years before finally getting around to fixing it.
It's beat up, but it plays & sounds great. I don't get to take it out very often, but I really like it.
