Double Bass Hamilton stand: help needed finding a replacement thumb screw

I have lost the male portion of the 2-piece thumb screw set that secures the upper bout support arms. I sent an inquiry to Hamilton through their website and.. crickets. I could go to my local hardware store and search for something that would work but I thought I'd post here to see if anyone might know of a source for the actual replacement.

Respectfully, I'm not interested in discussing the shortcomings of the Hamilton stand, as I'm well aware of them. I have a Hercules stand also, but it's not practical for some of the gigs I do with crowded stage conditions, where I find the Hamilton to be a not perfect but somewhat better solution.

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Did you look at the section on
their web site called ‘Repair Parts’?
You didn’t mention this.
Yes, I did, but there is nothing there specifically for the bass stand (KB 550). There might be an equivalent part, but it's impossible to tell because the individual items shown there are not actually links, so you can't see any more detail. I don't think Hamilton has redesigned their website since 1999 or so.
