I understand the first part of your comment, can you elaborate on the second part?
Just that there are a lot of people that are really happy with their basses, and they seem to have a great rep at shows, etc. I'm displease with the fact that Marko was very happy to communicate and answer a lot of my questions in the beginning, when the deposit went in, but when it's come time to follow up and respond to ETA questions, I have not received any response to multiple messages for weeks.

Thank you.

So had a quick exchange with @MarkoYYZ , he’s going to try to get on here, but can’t seem to log in, which is also why he probably hasn’t been getting notifications, and he’s going to try again later.
He might try to arrange a group chat or do a video rather than typing out a long story and answering sporadic questions.
Hopefully will here from him soon.

And so everyone knows, I have nothing to do with hammersmith, I’m in the same boat as everyone else waiting on news.

Via Facebook, it looks like Hammersmith is officially moving into a new shop, so that looks like good news from the position that they're staying in business.

On that FB thread Marko said (regarding the K basses), "Still delayed, won't be one to check out next week... will post a more clear update on TB a little later tonight."

Did The update get posted somewhere else? This is the only place I know to check.

What should be worrisome is he continues to do shows and take orders, yet production seems to be stalled with a steady stream of reasons, real or not.

I've been watching this thread for a while now, waiting for reasons to appear to give me comfort to order one, but I haven't seen one yet.

Good luck to everyone who has money down, I hope you get your basses.

To be fair, the orders he's taking (I believe) are NOT for the K model. The K model is the one that seems to be the weak link in the chain.

So sad too. I dare say that this isn’t what Hammersmith had in mind - I really like the K series.

Agreed. It seems like they're doing OK with the other models, so the issue is obviously only the K. At this point, the best course of action to me would be to find another factory willing and able to build them. But my opinion is just that, I'm not an expert on global manufacturing...

I think Marko is looking for/securing a different factory.
