Taking strings on/off while fitting the bridge was a pain so I made a string lifter/jack - plywood, aluminum rod a t-nut and threaded rod

Here's my technique for threading the feet for the adjusters, and the finished bridge installed. Not perfect

I installed a carbon fiber reinforcement bar into the neck and applied a couple coats of shellac.

Since the bridge was so high (8"+) the string break angle seemed too steep, the bridge wanted to fall toward the neck. I made a maple saddle extension that raised the strings 1"+. I also made a new endpin out of 3/4" poplar dowel and 3/8" aluminum rod, this replaced a cheap one. I made a wire tailpiece using bicycle brake cable, the brass parts were made from brass plumbing pipe.

Thanks for asking! It sounds really good, I have a video I will post. My other bass is a hybrid Thompson RM200, it sounds better than that one.
