HAO sound clips

I'll try do some kind of clip for you when I get my Rust Boost and The Roar [only 100 of the things were made] and when I'm done moving.:hyper:

The clips of the Rust Ride on Zsounds is close to what the thing sounds like with a jazz with rounds. And so far it is my favorite OD so far.:)


I really wise godlyke would offer HAO's LAV BOX and A/B & Para BOX to the US too, but they haven't as of yet.:mad:

I have had my new Rust Ride for about 5 day snow and am absolutely in love with this pedal. I posted a review and comparison to the Fulltone bassdrive a few days ago.

The Rust Ride sounds more open and less pinched than the Fulltone when set to the boost chanel. The Rust Ride has one sound, but oh what a gorgeous heavy overdrive. So many singing overtones and harmonics. The pedal just makes my bass sound alive.

I am finding this pedal completely addictive and I can leave it alone. The build quality is great, all hand wired inside with a handwritten signed and dated serial number label on the inside.

The jacks have a really nice high quality feel to them. This pedal oozes mojo! It even came packaged with a white polish cloth with the HAO logo on it.

I love my Fulltone for a light grind but the Rust Ride rules when it comes to a heavy overdrive thast still retains the sound of your bass with lots of note definition and clarity.

This is not a fuzz or distortion pedal. Its rich creamy overdrive! if you can find one, give it a good try. I paid a fair bit for mine as its a one trick pony but I would gladly take one amazing tone over a bunch of mediocre tones that dont inspire me to play the way the Rust Ride does.

I finally got my RustBoost, but only had a few minutes to mess with it.
The RB at a glance: very transparent when set to boost, the distortion sound when boost control is cranked is ratty and mean, kind'a like the distortion in a bassballs but controllable, no low end loss at all, the finish is cool, it kind'a changes a bit depending on what angle you look at it.

No, it was a limited run of 100 [in the US] in 04, I have #47. I got mine from Boston Guitar Works Inc, I think they have 3 more. I really like this fuzz, a lot.

They have two sections, an english one and a japanese one :confused:
EDIT: Okaaay i'm thinking about totally the wrong site. Woops!
EDIT EDIT: No i'm not! there is a button to change it to english on the HAO section. Ahhh feels good to clear that up :D
