not only is my wallet a lot slimmer since joining, but also my knowledge of all things bass has exponentially increased since being on here (nine years ago for me). I would never had some really great life experiences in music had it not been for this place.

Hard to believe! Thanks to the incredible community of bass players that have made TalkBass what it is, we turned 20 years old this year. It doesn't feel like 20 years since I started this thing up in my dorm room . Probably because it's just a joy to run this site. 21 million posts since 1998 is incredible. We should plan a TalkBass 20th year convention! Haha!

I've been a member for a while now, but just recently started posting on the forums. What a great bunch here. thanks for keeping it that way. Happy Birthday!
