I started life as a drummer, but I got better
and thanks again for your amazing work. (Now you know who I am!) I'm really enjoying just looking at the quality of the construction in the five-string single-coil P Bass pickup you made for me-- I'd been looking for such a beast for near ten years before I spoke with you. Seymour Duncan Custom Shop wouldn't even call me back about it-- So the project is finally in the hands of my luthier to be finished-- I'm really looking forward to putting it through its paces, but since it's been so long I'm not in any real hurry to get it back (other than the usual GASsing)-- rather have him take his time and use a bit of his famous finesse (he has his own life and band too). He sent me a shot of the routing jig he made for it-- now I'm thinking we are probably going to need to us it again, maybe a couple of times-- more as it happens!

Happy birthday again, sir, and thanks for making this particular pipe dream possible-- Lee

Feliz cumpleanos, Carey!

I have a Karl Hoyt fretless 4 with a BigMan in the Stingray position wired series/parallel/single which sounds amazing! I have been living in series mode most of the time, but all 3 tones are fantastic.

I've been considering putting a MusicMan-type pickup in the above bass as well, but right now I just want to get it playing-- anything else we'll deal with later.
