His wife calls him Ritchie, with a T.
I can't refer to rock stars by their actual names on here w/o riling up people SO badly that they have a beef over it years later, & I don't mean figuratively.

My bad, I forgot the ‘t’, I did it to have fun with it, but I don’t understand why people get their panties in a bunch over that, if the person in question, in their private time, goes by their own name. I suppose it undermines the myth. I know that Iggy prefers to called “Jim”.

    I love Ringo!

  5. Anyone with a passing interest in Iggy/Jim or Tom Waits has to see their piece from the Coffee And Cigarettes film. Hilarious. The entire thing is great but that’s my favorite.

  6. The Funniest Beatle. IMO. Glad he's still around.

    Happy Birthday Mr. Starkey!

I never actually learned to play very well
The Grounded Beatle. The “We might have stunk without him” Beatle. The “Tell me what to play and I’ll play it” Beatle. The “I am not a showboater” Beatle.

Very Happy Birthday Mr. Sir Richard Starkey.
