Happy Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day to all!! I have to share my Father's Day experience with you guys..

So,I get home from last night's gig to find little green post-it notes everywhere..and I mean EVERYWHERE. Apparently, while Dad was out playing, his little girl was making certain he'd have a great Father's Day..the post-its were a slew of clues leading me on a treasure hunt ALL over the house..and appliances..and random books..and footwear..and,well you get the picture.

When all was said and done,I was rewarded with lots of treasure in the forms of...a SWEET Star Wars collage she somehow found time to draw up,an awesome Darth and Stormtrooper shirt complete with photobomb by Chewie,a variety tray of little cheesecakes garnished with butterfinger bars, and a fresh batch of oatmeal scotties,my favorite cookies! I think it's safe to say,I have the coolest kid ever!!

Almost forgot to mention,my loving wifey just told me to order the parts for a new build too!! My girls are the best!

I went flying with a buddy of mine. We took off from an airport near Geneva, climbed to 10,000 feet and circled Mont Blanc, Europe's tallest mountain at 15,000 feet high. Our flight took us over Chamonix, France, into Switzerland, then into Italy to fly along the back side of it. Gorgeous sunny day. Had a great time.

My wife, my son, his wife and my grandson went to see a friend who has been a sort of father to us all. He is 86-years old now. Then went to a local burger place called "The Counter" they were giving free hamburgers to fathers. Yummm.

I also played with the band that morning on my new Road Worn Jazz. :bassist: Spent last night tweeking the set-up. I love doing that.
