I remember the day he died (March 9th, '07). I think I got a little teary eyed when I read the specifics. So sad.![]()
I know this thread is about the band Boston. They are about 10% as cool as Gang Green
...who were about 10% as cool as The Dark, or Limbo Race, or Young Snakes, or Wunderkind, or Three Colors, or a sickeningly large number of other Boston-area bands that played around the same time.
My roommate at the time was his great nephew (I think that's the right term, his mother was Brad's niece). Anyways, he had a bunch of pictures of him playing with beatlejuice on our mantle for a while. Very sad circumstances.

Boston's first album always did it for me. Nowadays, I hear that Tom Scholtz and the drummer are playing with some guy who pays them to play in his band... and for whatever reason they can't play Boston tunes.
Diiiiid you read the original post???I'm so confused ??? what's is this thread about the band or the city hardcore punk scene?

Never had a chance to see Boston Live. With Brad doing all the vocals on their early albums, how did they cover vocals live?
