Hardshell case for 6-string (specifically an MTD Zephyr)?

Looking for a rectangular hardshell case for an 6-string. It happens to be an MTD Zephyr, but I'm guessing most cases that will fit a 6-string neck will do. Problem is, I don't see any info on stores sites about cases that says anything about cases suitable for a 6-string.

Do you think that most cases will accommodate a 6-string neck? MF has a hardshell tweed for $60. This is just for keeping the instrument at my house & gentle transportation. As long as it fits the bass/neck & is at least reasonably O.K. quality, it'll be fine.

Comments? Thanks a lot.

Even the manufacturers don't always make hardshell cases for the basses they make. I have an Ibanez Soundgear 6, tried two Ibanez brand hardshell cases that were "supposed" to fit that model and no dice. :scowl:

I gave up, and gave my money to the Modulus company for their semi-hard case, which is neither a padded gig bag, nor a true hard case. The one I bought was to fit a Modulus Quantum Six, and it fit my Ibanez perfectly, and it works well with almost all my other basses too.

The construction is that cordura type material, and it has a foam-type structure, and zippers. It's light, but offers loads of protection at the same time, much more than a typical gig bag provides. Get in touch with Modulus on the cases.
