I picked one up from GC today on a whim and am very happy. Great sounding chorus. I'm not going to say too many nice things about it because I'm going to sell my Ibanez CS-9 and H20. ;-)

Can this nail the detune effect of the PS-3 that Jeff Caxide from Isis uses?

Is there a chorus pedal that could come close? Maybe the EBS one? I like his tone, it's like waterBut I don't want to buy a used PS-3

The only other pedal that really does it is a Whammy or Eventide Pitchfactor. they both have detune features. If you want a really lush chorus, I'd suggest trying out the CR-7 at a local GC.
. Any music equipment I buy is from the net without trying it out
. Maybe at some point I'll buy a Pitchfactor. The price is the main thing that keeps me from buying one. Also the fact that I don't think I'll use it for anything else than home noodling, cause I'm just a teenage bedroom player and effects noob
.I find so many uses for my Pitchfactor, it's crazy. I wouldn't say i'm a traditional bass player though...
here's two examples

I've heard all your clips of it. I'm killing the GAS with GT-6B's pitch shifter and I manage to convince myself I don't need a PF.
