So the cheapest 4x10 cab on thomann... only $200!
I am a complete beginner looking to buy my first bass. I know a 4x10 is probably overkill, especially since I'm not really going to do any gigs, but it's only $60 more than the 2x10 so I might as well.
There are some downsides to this though... I could only one demo find and it was recorded with a mobile phone. It also weighs 32kg which might be a hassle to transport to my third-floor room.
So, does anyone have any experience with this cab? In general, is it worth it to get a 4x10 if it's just going to be sitting in my room for its whole life or should I get a 2x10 and reap the benefits of a lighter cab?
As a side note, I am also buying an Amplug for travel playing or at friends house connected to a speaker, so this amp doesn't need to go anywhere.
