The finish of the 4MN naturals worked out to be an ideal basecoat
so the whole process took me like 4 hours.

No. But I'm betting if you can get the schematic for the GMP31 and GMP32, we can st least figure out if some additional features can be added.

String spacing at the bridge for the 5er?
If this is the bridge, it appears to be 19mm? I divided 76mm by the 4 areas of space between the 5 string and got 19.

Thomann answered that it's indeed 19mm at the bridge, and about 4.7kg for the 5 string (but they can't select the lightest for me, that's a "custom shop" feature). I am definitely pulling the trigger on this. Here's another good review:
My MP-5EB is just about to leave Germany and come to the US... I'm thinking about ordering some hipshot ultralite tuners now. From the specs I've found it appears the 1/2" post is what I want. Can anyone confirm?

Has anyone put replacement tuners on the MP-5EB? Thomann says aftermarket tuners would require drilling, nothing will "drop in".
I'm in doubt about the "pm" or the "jm". Sensations? Weight and balance? In the few reviews I've seen, I am inclined for the pm for the sound, although I like the ability of putting the mm pup in single coil (jm).
From what I have heard the balance is better on the JM but it's almost 2 pounds heavier (i think over 11 pounds). The PM does have a little bit of neck dive but is just under 10 lbs. The playability is great.
YES! And no, not yet. It does have a bit of neck dive but it's not bad and the tuners are smooth.

tl;dr I really like it.
I'm decided to buy a natural MP-4 when they will be available (in 7-8 weeks :C). I need something, that will better suit the rock music than my Ibanez ATK, when it comes to the lower mids. P-basses seemed always boring to me, but this one is very unique
