I don't know much about guitar wiring but the preamp specs call for more

Thanks for the explanatory information!From what I have heard the balance is better on the JM but it's almost 2 pounds heavier (i think over 11 pounds). The PM does have a little bit of neck dive but is just under 10 lbs. The playability is great.

YES! And no, not yet. It does have a bit of neck dive but it's not bad and the tuners are smooth.Did you get yours? How do you like it? Did you swap out the tuners?
Still need the preamp? i took mine out.If anyone with an Enhanced HB is replacing their stock preamp, I would love to buy it!
